As our Development Team expands, we're actively seeking new talent. Currently, we're on the lookout for a skilled Senior Power BI Developer with a wealth of experience. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in steering our developers along their growth trajectories and ensuring the triumphant execution of development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they are user-
friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business needs. - Develop complex data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations to support comprehensive analytics.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data representation.
- Manage and optimize Power BI data sets, reports, and dashboards to maintain performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, gather feedback, and make necessary
adjustments. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and data models.
- Implement best practices for Power BI performance tuning and optimization.
- Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information within Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior Power BI specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Lead projects and teams, ensuring successful delivery of BI solutions.
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, Report and Dashboard Design and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Programming language knowledge of Python (for advanced data analysis and integration with Power BI.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in handling team, mentoring juniors.
